Harmony and Peace
Welcome to the Harmony & Peace Blog
A sanctuary for healing, awareness, and conscious transformation
Welcome, beautiful soul.
I’m Shaune Burke, founder of Harmony & Peace — a space created from the heart, dedicated to helping others reconnect with themselves, release emotional weight, and rediscover the calm and clarity that already exist within.
This blog is an extension of that vision — a written space of stillness and reflection, where I share insights, tools, and truths gathered from my personal journey and the journeys I’ve been honoured to witness in others. It’s a place to pause, breathe, and remember that everything you need to heal and grow already lives within you.
When I first began walking the path of self-discovery, I wasn’t looking for titles or techniques — I was searching for peace. For years, I lived in a constant state of doing, striving, and helping others, yet inside I felt disconnected. I had lost touch with the quiet voice within that whispers truth, direction, and calm. The more I looked outside of myself for peace, the further away it seemed. Until one day, I realised that peace was never something to find — it was something to return to.
That realisation changed everything. It opened a new chapter in my life — one filled with self-inquiry, stillness, and the exploration of healing through both the mind and the body. I began studying Life Coaching, Breathwork, Reiki, and EFT Tapping, but more importantly, I began practicing presence — learning to sit with myself, my thoughts, and my emotions.
Over time, these tools helped me peel back the layers of stress, expectation, and emotional weight I had carried for years. I began to feel lighter, calmer, and more connected to who I truly am beneath the noise. And from that place, Harmony & Peace was born — not as a business, but as a calling. A calling to help others remember that peace is not outside of them; it’s within.
Through my work as a Life Coach, Breathwork Instructor, Reiki Practitioner, and EFT Practitioner, I’ve witnessed how powerful it can be when someone reconnects with their energy, breath, and truth. When we slow down enough to listen — really listen — we begin to understand what our emotions are trying to teach us. We start to release what no longer serves us, and we begin to move through life with a sense of presence and flow that feels deeply natural.
This blog is a reflection of that philosophy.
Here, you’ll find writings on emotional healing, resilience, boundaries, self-awareness, energy work, and spiritual growth. Some posts will share practical tools you can use daily — simple techniques to calm your nervous system, clear your energy, or reframe your mindset. Others will be reflections — quiet, heart-spoken pieces about life, presence, and the moments that shape us.
Every word shared here comes from experience. I don’t write from theory alone; I write from lived truth — from the moments I’ve fallen apart and rebuilt, from the silent spaces where I’ve faced myself, and from the transformations I’ve witnessed in others when they begin to breathe consciously and trust their own energy.
One of the most transformative experiences of my life came through Vipassana — a ten-day silent meditation retreat that changed the way I relate to life itself.
Imagine ten days without speaking, reading, writing, or any form of distraction — just you, your breath, and your awareness.
At first, the silence was loud. My mind raced, my emotions surfaced, and my body resisted the stillness. But as the days unfolded, something shifted. Beneath the surface noise, I began to feel a profound sense of clarity and peace. Vipassana taught me how to observe thoughts and emotions without becoming trapped by them. It taught me that stillness isn’t emptiness — it’s awareness. It’s the space where truth, healing, and compassion naturally arise.
That retreat reshaped my understanding of what healing truly is. It’s not about escaping discomfort — it’s about learning to be with it. It’s not about controlling life — it’s about allowing life to unfold. Vipassana reminded me that silence and breath are our greatest teachers, and that awareness itself is the foundation of transformation.
From that experience, the essence of Harmony & Peace deepened.
I realised that every breath, every thought, and every emotion holds wisdom — if we learn to listen. Healing is not about becoming something new; it’s about remembering what’s already within us. It’s about releasing what’s heavy, forgiving what’s past, and opening our hearts to the present moment.
Through this blog, I hope to bring that energy to you — wherever you are on your journey. Whether you’re exploring breathwork, working through self-sabotage, navigating people-pleasing, or simply seeking more calm and meaning in life, these words are here to guide and ground you.

When you read these words, I want you to feel safe. To feel seen. To remember that healing is not linear and that slowing down is not failure — it’s wisdom. I want this blog to be a reminder that no matter where you are, you are already enough, and every breath is an opportunity to return home to yourself.
So, take your time here. Read slowly. Reflect deeply. Let the words land in the space of your heart that’s ready to receive.
Take a deep breath.
Feel the rise and fall of your chest.
You are alive. You are growing. You are healing.

May these words guide you home to yourself, one breath at a time.
